Pastor Ananias Bangonon; Mindanao, Philippines
Dear Sir,
I'm glad to know that you're inviting us to write something about our ministry here.Before anything else I would like to introduce myself to you briefly. My name is ANANIAS C. BANGONON, I'm pastoring a small church located at the municipality of Cantilan, province of Surigao del Sur,part of Mindanao, Philippines. I began to be a pioneering missionary while Rev.Ricaredo Jayona was still alive way back November of 1994. I was sent to start a mission work in this place with my wife and our first son ( Joshua Amaziah ) without any single centavo has been promised to support us while doing this mission work.
After 3months of staying as missionary the Bethany Baptist Church Cubao sent me a money order check worth 1,500Php. In a short message inclosed therewith told me that iot was my financial assistance for the of November 1994 to January 1995. It means to understand that they are going to send worth 500 Php to me as financial assistance for every month. God has been so gracious and let me survived cause I need to stay on God's calling for His ministry.That's why I seek God's guidance in order for me to continue doing what He commanded me to do. By His grace and mercy I was able to survive and we had just celebrated our 10th church anniversary last April 9,2010.
We have two extension ministries some ten kilometers away from our church but sad to say we found no man to handle this extension that's why I am doing it myself with my family and some church members to conduct worship services to the extension areas every Sunday afternoon.Our only problem as of today is the vihicle that would be used for this ministries. Highlands Philippines through 52 camps
Here are the latest camp statistics:
Campers - 59,268
Salvation Decisions - 30,570
Baptism Decisions - 4,597
Bible College New Student Applications - 855
We're on track to reach just over 100,000 young people, once we complete the 89 camps! We're also seeing just over 50% of the young people saved. This is really the hand of God working this year.
We had a Vice Governor from the province of Bulacan, plus 4 of his provincial councilmen come to camp 10 days ago. During the invitation, all of them came forward with the young people to be saved! Incredible!
Additionally, we have had several gang members come to Christ and are working out peace meetings between rival gangs. When a life is revolutionized by the changing power of salvation, a new direction follows. We're seeing this in many ministries!
Thanks so much for all the Rawlings Foundation does for souls in Metro Manila and around the world!

Awesome Results from the Highlands Philippines Camp
Missionary Greg Lyons and his team have started their High School Senior class camps. Obviously, these are for the seniors in school only. Many of these students previously went to another religious camp, but because of the tremendous results of the students who have gone to the Highlands Philippine camp constructed by the Rawlings Foundation, many schools have chosen to have their students go to our camps.
The Gospel message will change lives, and because it does, the school officials have made this important decision. These Senior camps will have a tremendous impact on the lives of these students. Will you pray today for these camps? Thanks.
